Where can I get more information on asthma?

There are a number of charities and research centres that provide additional information, advice and support for asthma and allergy sufferers.  Some more details are given below and links to websites to the right.

Asthma UK is the charity dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the 5.4 million people in the UK whose lives are affected by asthma.  As well as a wealth of web-based information, they have an advice line, magazine and monthly podcasts, all accessible through their website.

Asthma UK also co-supports an asthma and allergy research centre in association with the Medical Research Council, and Kings and Imperial Colleges, London

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), is a patient organization in the US for people with asthma and allergies, and the oldest asthma and allergy patient group in the world
